North Texas Giving Day (tomorrow, 09/17), is an opportunity to invest directly in the people and programs that strengthen our Native community.
Through Texas Native Health’s WIOA Program, Native students receive support as they pursue their education, develop their skills, and work toward their future goals.
For one WIOA participant, that journey has already led to earning an Associate of Arts degree in Communication Studies at Haskell Indian Nations University, and it isn’t stopping there. He is continuing his education at the University of Kansas. 🎓
In his own words, hear what the support of the WIOA Program has meant to him and his education journey.
Give today and help create more opportunities for Native students to succeed.

TNH is providing safe sleep resources to support American Indian and Alaska families and help give our babies a healthy start in life. American Indian and Alaska Native babies experience Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) rates that are more than twice the national average. This initiative is a collaboration between the Healthy Native Babies Project Workgroup, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health (DRH). You may pick up the safe sleep resources at any of the available times listed on the flyer. Forms must be completed upon pick-up.
