What does a Dallas rental have to do with the Chicago MLS? Apparently, quite a bit.
My client owns a fully leased three-unit property at 2433 Southwood. We started with a Compass Private Exclusive because protecting her tenants’ privacy mattered. When her plans changed, we put the property on the MLS and opened it up to a wider audience.
It appeared everywhere except Zillow.
So I joined the Chicago MLS, entered the listing through MRED, and now it’s on Zillow, too. A strange route for an Oak Cliff property? Absolutely. But my client needed both privacy at the start and broad exposure when she was ready.
