Yesterday a little girl at the grocery store asked her mom if she could get her hair cut like mine & my heart almost burst all over the frozen foods section. There is nothing better than when a girl realizes there is no “correct way” to be one.

“Customers talked while getting haircuts, while others gathered over food and drinks.
“Too often, when you ask someone how they’re doing, they’ll say, ‘I can’t complain,’ because they don’t think anyone really wants to hear what they’re going through. We’re trying to change that,” barbershop owner DeShone Williams said in a news release. “As a barber, you feel the pulse of the community. And as time has progressed, it was as if our customers were waiting for something like this.”
Shop Talk happened in March and again in July for National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. The first Shop Talk drew about three dozen men who were predominantly Black and Hispanic. The second event saw nearly double the attendees, reinforcing the need for trusted spaces where conversations about mental health can happen openly.
“This is bigger than just cutting hair,” Williams said. “We’ve created a safe space here, and that’s what makes these conversations possible.”
Findings from the 2025 Dallas County Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) identified behavioral health as the county’s most pressing health concern.
The assessment found that more Dallas County residents are reporting poor mental health, while Black and Hispanic communities continue to face disproportionate barriers to ”

Journalist: "Mr. President, why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not do it right now?"
Trump: "You know, it's not the question that bothers me, it's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start by addressing a very respected man to ask him a horrible, insubordinate, and just plain awful question. You could have asked that same question politely. They're all worked up, someone predisposes them from ABC, they're going to predispose them...
You're a terrible person and a terrible reporter. As for the Epstein files, I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein..."
Rather than saying why he won't release the files, Trump takes one of those long detours he's already accustomed us to. He goes through the tone of the question, the manners, ABC, and the journalist's professional quality. He even calls her "insubordinate," as if she worked for him. In the end, he gets to the one place no one had sent him and drops a "I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein."
She hadn't asked him that. Trump had to invent a question just to be able to answer something.
The scene is directed, moreover, at the rest of the journalists. Trump works on the next question. The insults, the loss of access, the lawsuits, and the threats against the outlet mark how far it's convenient to go. If the next correspondent gauges the tone before opening their mouth, the strategy has already worked.
The files, of course, remain closed.
Trump attacks the entire press, but with women he usually reserves a more personal humiliation. He questions their bodies, their faces, their voices, their manners, and even if they smile. The bully always carefully chooses who to play tough with. God, what decadence. Presidents, governors, and mayors who act tough and can't even make an O with a glass.

trump’s media company is now selling early access to trump’s Truth Social posts so wealthy companies can pay to get his market-moving announcements before the rest of America. Nothing says “public service” like turning presidential outbursts into a premium trading signal for whoever can afford the subscription.
Pay up, get the warning first, place your bets, and let everybody else deal with the price swings afterward. It is not merely corrupt😡it is a presidential pay-to-play market tip line with a monthly membership fee of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH😳
Some companies are paying up to $100,000 a month to see trump’s posts before everyone else. Why? Because a single post can make prices in the stock market or oil market jump or crash.
For example, if trump posts that the U.S. may make war with Iran worse, people may worry that oil will become harder to get. Oil prices can rise fast. If he then posts that peace may be close, oil prices can fall.
Big traders make money by buying or selling at exactly the right moment. Seeing a market-moving post even a few seconds early could help them make millions on one trade.
So the companies are not just paying for news. They are paying because they are scared their competitors will get the information first and make money while they lose it. In other words: pay trump’s company for early access, or risk getting beaten in the market.

Cairo doesn’t beg. He lobbies. Then he checks which parent is weakest that day. He has discovered the art of divide and conquer… even if it leaves me and the wife not speaking to each other at least he gets his agenda fulfilled 🤔Cairo has figured out that “Mom said no” is not a final answer…it’s just the beginning of negotiations. Our dog has learned that the household has two branches of government, and he only needs one of them to approve treats🤦🏽♂️
