Non-profit that averts crisis on college campuses through educating students on finding their true identity - spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Located at 3408 McFarlin Boulevard, U ARISE is currently serving the students on SMU campus as well as the campuses surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth. If you are a student leader at SMU or UTD, please contact us at [email protected] so we can help you to plug into our network of caring, compassionate U ARISE FRIENDS. We are also looking for members of the greater Dallas community who would like to pray for the students on these campuses as well as the other campuses in the D/FW area and across the nation during our forty days of prayer event called Arise & Pray, that starts on September 5th. www.uarise.org

More about Arise & Pray:

ARISE AND PRAY is a prayer movement created by U ARISE for college students and the people who are passionate about their wellbeing. In 2013, the prayer focus for ARISE AND PRAY will be over the forty issues many college students face daily. Each day, a different topic will be chosen to pray over from the issue-centric materials created by Hope for the Heart . The 40-day, 24-hour prayer movement begins on September 5th and ends on October 14th. Please sign up to pray in 15 minute slots and encourage others in your circle of influence to do the same on www.ariseandpray.org. There are prayer resources on this site, including a sample prayer for those who would like to begin their prayer time by reading the prayer out loud to the Lord as a beginning prayer.
