Every 7 days: couple’s date nught
Every 7 weeks: spend a night away
Every 7 months: take a trip together

When you’re raising kids, working, driving to practices, managing schedules, and trying to remember what day it is, the marriage can sometimes get lost in all those important routines.

These moments are a good reminder of why we married our best friend.

Also, for the record, sitting next to each other at soccer practice does not count as a date. 😂

Our first full day in Reykjavík was nonstop. Between whale watching with visiting puffin island, which holds 40% of the world‘s population, to watching Minke whales and dolphins swimming with our tour boat.

After a nonstop morning, we escaped to Sky Lagoon for relaxing and invigorating afternoon which is a must-do.

I was a little concerned if the boys could complete the seven step experience but we could not keep them out of the cold plunge! 🥶

And the food experience has been our favorite so far. The artic char, lamb shank, reindeer burger, and lobster soup have been the favs so far.

And who knew that Reykjavík has the only Phallological Museum in world! 🤷‍♂️.

Pretty, pretty please… never feel like you’re less than. 🌈

I don’t think we nailed any of the basic touristy pics but we get an E for effort and F for fun! 💕❤️

We almost skipped this stop.l but glad we didn’t.

Perched on top of a crumbling volcanic cliff, Civita di Bagnoregio has been standing for more than 2,500 years and is one of the most unique places we’ve ever visited. Because of both wind and water erosion, it loses approximately 1 cm per year of earth that supports it and is expected to disappear in 250 years.

The entire town is connected to the modern world by a single pedestrian bridge.

It was an incredible moment to walk through living history with our boys and be reminded that some of the most meaningful travel experiences happen far away from the famous landmarks.

Fun fact: One of the village’s most famous residents is Harry Styles, who owns #53!
