We make memories that move markets.

The owl has landed in Deep Ellum.

TRG is proud to announce that we are the first independent agency in North America to sponsor the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute of Marketing Science, the world’s largest center for research into marketing.

With access to the Institute’s 70-plus years of evidence-based research and direct access to more than 60 of its marketing scientists, this sponsorship strengthens our ability to pair bold ideas with a deeper understanding of how brands grow.

We’re excited to get started.

We’re living in a golden age of marketing effectiveness, but too few American marketers are putting it to work. So 14 teammates across disciplines did something no one at TRG had done before: They went deep on the evidence behind how advertising really works through Eff Pack, our 90-day effectiveness training program.

Eff Pack packs decades of evidence-based marketing research into weekly sessions designed to bridge theory and practice, and it’s already changing how our graduates write briefs, plan media, and evaluate creative.

Congratulations to our first Eff Pack graduates (not all pictured):
Alex Ritchie, Dan Dillard, Daylan Burgess, Emanuel Gonzalez, Feba Varghese, Joel Thomas, Kat Mogongwa, Katy Welch, Lindsey Moss, Madisyn Lane, Monik Ladha, Olivia Yaeger, Taylor Clark, and Trent Walters

Thank you to Chris Ferrel and Christopher Owens for leading the program, Olivia Yaeger and Allison Rife for building the curriculum behind it all, Rose Russell for making this post visually memorable, and Debbie Smelko for her support throughout.

And good luck to Eff Pack 2, who just kicked off their learning journey.

Thank you to GSD&M, Fergus O’Carroll, and the “On Strategy Showcase” team for inviting us to participate Thursday night in Austin.

We had a great time watching our Executive Strategy Director Christopher Owens present alongside Kate Gunning and Cristina Pansolini for the first-ever live recording of “On The Spot.” We were thrilled to be part of such a talented group and such an engaged audience.

A big thank-you to GSD&M for the warm hospitality, and to Fergus and the entire “On Strategy Showcase” team for a fantastic evening. Tune in soon to watch the full episode.

Yesterday, in honor of Women’s Equality Day, our She@TRG ally group hosted its third annual panel on the progress we’ve made toward women’s equality, the challenges that remain, and how we can create more equitable workplaces.
We were honored to welcome:

Cindy Blum, Senior Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores
Audrey Berger, Cofounder and CEO of Drumline
Carolyn Mungo, President and General Manager of WFAA Channel 8
Rane Butler, Vice President of Team and Client Experience at Venturity

The conversation covered everything from finding your voice early in your career to the importance of listening, asking questions, and creating opportunities for others. And while we’ve made extraordinary progress, as one panelist reminded us, “Progress doesn’t mean equality.”

Our panelists left us with plenty of wisdom: You’re stronger than you think. Don’t chase titles; chase experience. Mistakes are part of the journey, so don’t be afraid of them. And when it comes to balancing work and life, “having it all” starts with defining what “all” means to you.

Thank you to our panelists for sharing their experiences and perspectives, and to our own Kendall Kerr and Elle Collazo for leading such a thoughtful conversation.

We’re still feeling our “Wonder Woman stance.” (A little inside joke for those who were there.)

Resharing some of our organic social work for World’s Best Cat Litter. We love a client that knows their audience well enough to know exactly what they’ll argue about – like how a cat would wear pants.

Enjoy right meow!

And while you’re at it, drop us a comment with your vote. 😸

Yesterday afternoon, we lovingly celebrated the one and only Teri Jones, whom we’ve proudly called the Mother Goose of this agency for 42 years. Yes, 42 years.

We saluted Teri as the “woman who wore all the hats at TRG” – fitting for someone who has done just about everything around here. We even erected a “hat” statue in her honor while the rest of us donned hats of our own.

Happy retirement, Teri! After 42 incredible years, you leave some very big hats to fill. You will always be our Mother Goose. ❤️

Yesterday, we celebrated some incredible milestone anniversaries at TRG, recognizing team members who have dedicated five years all the way up to 40 years to our agency.

More than a celebration of years of service, it was a reminder that the best workplaces are built by people who choose to stay, grow, and invest in one another. Congratulations to each of our milestone honorees – and thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and the lasting impact you’ve made on our team, our clients, and our business.

Here’s to the people and culture that continue to make TRG a place where careers flourish.
