Today, we celebrate the beatification of Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.
In this clip, he reminds us that love is more than a feeling. Love is an act of the will and about choosing to do what is good for another, even when the feelings aren’t there, which is a beautiful reminder for dating, too. Feelings and attraction matter, but lasting love asks us to choose, sacrifice, serve, and seek the good of another.
