WFAA Weather isn't here to prognosticate, posture or impress. We are here to do one thing and that is to serve. We are community guardians and we take that responsibility seriously. We are sunshine-bringers, rain-makers wedding defenders, and weekend-savers. We are lighting chasers, storm trackers and sometimes live savers. What we do matters. A relentless late-summer heat wave... This isn't over. I hope we have better news for you sooner than later. I'd be happy to be wrong at this point, but that dip into the 90s is still the best we can offer. As we've consistently said, we know it isn't much.
