A gallery wall done well doesn’t just fill space. It anchors a room and gives it a point of view.
How our team approaches every one:
→ Plan the full layout on the floor before anything touches the wall
→ Choose one anchor piece and build around it
→ Keep spacing consistent so the eye can rest
→ Let the frames vary, but hold the rhythm
Save this as your guide, and tag a person whose art is still leaning against the wall.
Some projects stay with you, but the relationships stay even longer.
We designed her childhood bedroom ten years ago, and this year we had the honor of designing the room where she’ll start her next big adventure. At the end of the day, we don’t just design room; we build decades-long bonds with our clients who trust us with their space. Watching these reactions side-by-side is a beautiful reminder of why we love growing right alongside our clients.
Dorm Room Reveal!!
We completely transformed this space from a standard-issue room into a custom luxury retreat. It is amazing what some tailored bedding, custom styling, and a little design magic can do for this small space.
Taking our Texas design magic on the road! ✈️
Last month, we packed our bags and headed down to West Palm Beach for a completely different kind of project: a dorm room makeover. Who says you can’t have luxury in 225 square feet? We had the absolute best time stepping outside our usual routine to transform this blank canvas into a home away from home.
Come back on Monday to see the final reveal! 🌴✨

Breaking down the behind-the-scenes of how a custom design project comes to life from the ground up 📐✨
People often see the final, styled reveal and assume it just magically happens overnight. But the real work, the structured foundation where a space transforms, follows a very intentional path.
From our initial consultation and deep-dive concept development to space planning, selections, and ultimate white-glove installation, every phase is engineered to completely remove the guesswork for our clients.

Our office is closed today while our team takes a well-deserved day to rest and recharge with loved ones.

Follow the wrap✨
This 1,600 square foot wraparound porch was designed to do one thing: make the most of life by the river. Swipe through and walk it with us, from the French doors where it all begins, to the hanging daybed made for an afternoon siesta, to the sculptural details and quiet corners tucked all along the way.
Every pocket was styled for lingering, gathering, and long days on the water. A porch with nothing left unconsidered.

🎉 CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF OUR AMAZING LISA! 🎉
Today we celebrate 15 incredible years of BIG LISA and the extraordinary impact she has made on Baker Design Group!
From the beginning, Lisa has been so much more than an incredibly talented Interior Designer. She has been a partner, leader, builder, creative force, and a huge part of the heart of BDG. She is fun, sassy, creatively CRAZY talented, fiercely hardworking, and deeply loved by her clients and the entire BDG Fam.
Lisa has helped build Baker Design Group from the inside out and has been instrumental in growing our presence within the Dallas design community. She has worked in all four of our offices, served as an important member of our leadership team, held Board leadership roles with ASID, chaired IDS events, and earned more design awards than we can possibly count!
But beyond all the accomplishments, awards, and beautiful spaces she has created, it is Lisa herself that we celebrate today her loyalty, passion, incredible work ethic, huge personality, and the way she gives her ALL to the people and projects entrusted to her.
Big Lisa, 15 years is a BIG DEAL, and so are YOU!
We celebrate this amazing milestone, we celebrate everything you have helped build, and most of all…
