Math is more than getting the right answer—it’s about thinking, communicating, reflecting, and understanding. 🧠✏️

At vertical whiteboards, students collaborate with one writer + two speakers to make mathematical thinking visible and hear problem-solving in action. After each lesson, color-coded Levels of Understanding reflections help students recognize where they are in their learning. And written summaries with sentence stems help students put their mathematical thinking into words—building both math understanding and writing fluency.

Making thinking visible. Making learning meaningful. 💭📐

Feeling incredibly grateful to have been invited to Teacher Appreciation Night at the Lady Broncos volleyball game last night. 🏐

It was such a special honor to be recognized by one of my student-athletes. Moments like this remind me how blessed I am to have the opportunity to work with kids—not only in their math education, but to witness and celebrate the many parts of their lives beyond the math classroom.

I’m grateful for the students who make this profession so meaningful. ♥️✨
