Every life has value. Every story matters. 💜🩵

Sometimes pain is visible. Sometimes it isn’t.

This World Su***de Prevention Day, the Red Sea Project reminds our community that no one should have to struggle in silence.

Check on the people you love.
Listen without judgment.
Make space for honest conversations.
Remind someone that they matter.

Whether you are young, older, a parent, a professional, a man who was taught to “be strong,” or simply someone trying to make it through another day—your life has value.

There is more life to live.
There is more of your story to be written.
There is help.
There is hope. ❤️

If you or someone you know is experiencing a suicidal or mental health crisis in the U.S., call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Together, we can save lives.

💜 Parents, pay attention to the changes—not just the words.

Children and teens may not always know how to say, “I’m struggling” or “I need help.” Sometimes their behavior communicates what they cannot put into words.

Withdrawal from family and friends, significant mood changes, hopelessness, changes in sleep or appetite, declining school performance, giving away meaningful possessions, increased risky behavior, or talking about death or not wanting to live should be taken seriously.

If something feels different, start the conversation.

Ask the difficult question.
Listen without judgment.
Take their feelings seriously.
Stay present.
Seek professional support when needed.

Talking openly about su***de does not plant the idea in a child’s mind. A compassionate, direct conversation can create an opportunity for them to tell you what they are experiencing.

Your child does not need you to have all the answers. They need to know they don’t have to face their pain alone.

If your child is experiencing a suicidal or mental health crisis in the U.S., call or text 988 for 24/7 support. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

đź’ś Notice. Ask. Listen. Support.
