And through it all, there have been teams who have become part of the story of the FOE Barbeque Cookoff.

This year, we're starting a new tradition.

Roll Call: Razorback BBQ

Jimmy Mosby and his crew are making their debut appearance at the FOE BBQ Cookoff. Once again, Jimmy must have has Facebook locked up tighter than my kid's grip on the last pork rib (Yes, she loves ribs). The team name would indicate some Arkansas affiliation? Regardless, we look forward to meeting the Razorback BBQ team. Good luck!

Roll Call: Chaos Cookers

Randy Roy and Chaos Cookers are another first-time team that I think will bring a whole new level of spice and variety to this competition - and I'm not just talking about the sauce's flavor profile. Randy Roy's is the lead singer for RAID (I'm getting heavy metal vibes from his Facebook profile). I love how BBQ brings people together in unique and unexpected ways!

Roll Call: Grill-A-Warfare

This year will be Grill-A-Warfare's 6th appearance at the FOE BBQ Cookoff. Brandon Jordan squeaked in at the last minute to grab the last spot after a cancellation, and we are thrilled to welcome them back. Let's not forget in 2023, they took 1st in Chicken, 2nd in Brisket, and overall Grand Champion. So there is absolutely huge upside for this team! Plus they usually show up well for People's Choice as well.

Roll Call: Texas Smoke

Another debut appearance for team and Christopher Wafer. You know how they say don't go to grocery store hungry. Well, don't cyber stalk a bbq guys page when your hungry either. You will be drooling at the mouth wanting to take a bite out of your screen. I think Texas Smoke will be a great addition to the event.

Roll Call: The Smokin' Pit BBQ
They first joined our event back in 2018 and 2019. Sadly, we haven't seen them since. Now, we are super excited Gary Wiggins, Chad Skidmore and the rest of the crew are back in action for the 15th annual event! We welcome them back with open arms. Also, Gary's got an assortment of smokers in his Facebook pics - some he seems to build/sell and others I'm sure he keeps. I'm curious to see what he rolls for the competition.

Roll Call: Kemper's Backyard BBQ
This is Mr. Kemper Morris' first year to participate in our event, and we look forward to him joining the fun! I don't know much about him yet, but I do know Facebook shows me. He is a photographer, cook, BBQ Pitmaster, and Dessert chef. Cooking makes him happy! And he's got some cute doggies, too! Welcome to the event!
