It is official: Paulding County Master Gardener Training has been scheduled for January 2027. If you are looking for an outlet to serve your community, click the link below to learn more.

Training will be held in a hybrid format, with content delivered asynchronously, online via eLearning Commons. Required in-person classes will be held bi-weekly on Fridays from 9-3 January 15-March 16, 2027. Applicant interviews will be held October 23, 27 and November 3, 2026.

Paulding County Extension is accepting applications for new Master Gardener Extension Volunteers for the 2027 training class. The purpose of the Georgia Master Gardener® Extension Volunteer program is to help University of Georgia Cooperative Extension staff transfer research-based information about gardening and related subjects to the public by training home gardeners to be volunteer educators. Applications are due on October 15, 2026.

Program Dates, Times, and Tentative Locations:

Classes for the 2027 Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Training will be held in a hybrid format with 6-8 in-person classes hosted in Bartow and Paulding Counties, along with online content delivered via University of Georgia’s eLearning Commons. In-person classes will take place on Fridays from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm from January 15 through March 26, 2027. Attendance at in-person classes is required, along with participation in the online content delivered via eLearning Commons.
