Awwdoptable

We need a little help, friends. 🐾❤️

We’re coming up on the tail end of kitten season, but apparently kitten season did not get the memo.

Today, Jolene, one of our sweet calico girls, had to go to the vet with what we believe is an infection following her spay. Because of her symptoms, we also needed to run bloodwork to rule out FIP. Her visit came to right around $300.

And then there’s Protractor. 📐

Yesterday, some neighbors found this tiny little girl outside and reached out for help. She’s only about 4–5 months old and weighs just 4 lbs 6 oz — and unfortunately, we believe she may already be pregnant.

At her size and age, carrying and delivering kittens could be incredibly dangerous for her, so we’re getting her in for an emergency spay. Between her spay, pregnancy fee, rabies vaccine and microchip, we’re looking at another $150.

So, just like that, we need to raise $450 to cover these two girls.

It has been an incredibly difficult kitten season. We’ve taken on so many animals who needed medical care, and while we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who supported us during North Texas Giving Day, we’re still waiting for those funds to actually reach us.

In the meantime, the cats keep showing up. The emergencies keep happening. And we still have to say yes when we can.

If you can help us raise $450, we can get Jolene healthy and make sure tiny Protractor never has to become a baby having babies. ❤️

Every $5, $10 and $20 donation gets us closer. And if you can’t donate, please share this post — it really does help.
