This day wonāt make it onto someone's Pinterest board. š
There are toys on the floor. Someone needs a snack approximately 14 seconds after I cleaned the kitchen. The laundry is in that weird stage where itās technically clean⦠but has been living in a basket long enough to become furniture.
I didnāt wake up at 4:30 am before my kids to journal in a sunlit room.
I had more coffee than I probably need.
I didnāt move through every part of the day calm, patient, productive, hydrated, and glowing.
But I was here. And lately, Iāve been reminding myself that maybe the goal isnāt to make these days look beautiful.
Maybe itās to actually be in them.
Because when youāre in the thick of it with little kids, it can feel like your entire life is happening between snack requests, daycare drop-offs, messes, meltdowns, bath time, and trying to remember the thing you walked into the room for.
Itās exhausting. Itās overstimulating. Itās wildly unglamorous. But itās also your life right now. Not the part you have to rush through before life gets good again.
So if your days feel messy right now, theyāre allowed to.
If taking care of yourself looks like a 10-minute workout, reheated coffee, standing outside for five minutes, or going to bed instead of folding the laundry⦠it counts.
One day, the house will be quieter. The toys wonāt be everywhere. Nobody will need you quite this much.
But today? This loud, sticky, ordinary, very-not-Pinterest-worthy day is so worthy of being lived, too. š¤
If youāre in the thick of it right now, I see you mama.
I think the older I get, the simpler my definition of a really good life becomes.
I want to feel strong in my body. I want a little time thatās mine, to push myself, clear my head, grab a coffee, and remember that Iām still me outside of everything I do for everyone else.
And then I want to walk back inside.
To little feet running toward me. Arms around my neck. The noise and the mess and the people I love more than anything.
I have goals. I want to grow. I want to keep becoming a stronger version of myself.
But at the end of the day, this is it for me.
Taking care of myself so I can be here, really here, for the life I prayed for.
A strong body. A full house. My babies in my arms.
Thatās the good stuff. š¤
If this sounds like you too, follow along you're in the right place.

Spoiler alert: itās nothing fancy. š
Lunch today was a tuna packet on sourdough and an apple. Thatās it! No meal prep Sunday, no 14 ingredients, no color-coded containers in the fridge.
When youāve got little ones, the goal isnāt the perfect plate. Itās getting some protein in, eating something that actually fills you up, and not skipping meals because you were busy making everyone elseās.
Around here, Iām always going to tell you to focus on what you can ADD not what you need to cut. A little more protein. A little more fiber. Some fruit on the side. You donāt have to give up the foods you love to feel better, you just build around them.
Simple counts. Easy counts. āI ate standing at the counter while my toddler asked for a snackā counts.
What are your go-to quick, healthy meals and snacks? Drop them below, Iām always looking for new ideas! š
You finally start feeling strong again⦠and BAM, pregnant š

Honestly, motherhood has taught me that there is no āfinally, Iāve got this figured outā phase. Your body changes. Your schedule changes. Your kids need you. Life happens.
And thatās kind of the whole reason I created WellMamas.
Itās realistic wellness for moms who want to feel strong and take care of themselves without making fitness another full-time job. Short, effective workouts, simple nutrition support, and tools that actually fit into real life. š¤
Because the goal isnāt to never get thrown off. Itās to have something you can keep coming back to.

I spent years thinking I needed to try harder.
More discipline. More intensity. A better plan. A fresh start every Monday. š
Turns out, I needed to do less and actually keep doing it.
Shorter workouts. Eating well without dieting. More recovery. And letting a bad day just be a bad day instead of turning it into a bad month.
A whole bunch of very average weeks got me further than perfection ever did. š¤
Whatās one thing youāre ready to stop overcomplicating?
Iād say Iām doing pretty well??? āļø
