risepoint.com AP also provides the upfront capital required to launch and market an institution’s online portfolio.
Risepoint is a global education technology company partnering with 100+ universities to help them grow by offering affordable, workforce relevant degrees, delivered online. Academic Partnerships' (AP) mission is to help public and private not-for-profit universities increase enrollment and revenue through online delivery of high-quality instruction. AP helps faculty members convert their on-campus courses and programs into an online format, recruits qualified students for those programs and helps retain enrolled students through graduation. Universities that select AP experience accelerated enrollment and revenue growth without incurring the substantial cost of building an online infrastructure.

Happy 10 years at Risepoint to Tina Peters, our Senior Director of Instructional Design! As part of her role on the Instructional Design team (pictured), Tina loves designing learning experiences and partnering with faculty. But her favorite part is the impact: "I love seeing the impact our work has on students' lives."
We appreciate all that Tina brings to our team, including deep expertise on how faculty can provide engaging, future-forward online learning experiences.
As Mindy Benson, President of Southern Utah University, articulates, regional universities like SUU are pillars of their communities. Even beyond educating future leaders in business, education, and healthcare, these institutions contribute resources that stimulate their local economies.
"Regional universities already have what working adults are looking for."
It's a message worth repeating — and the University of Southern Indiana is proof.
When USI extended its MBA program online, it didn't reinvent itself. It just made what was already working accessible to more people. Graduate interest expanded from 38 states to all 50. MBA market share in Indiana grew from 1% to 18%. A new AI concentration attracted nearly 200 students in its first year.
Working adults choose regional institutions because they trust them — because they're affordable, connected to local employers, and built for the communities they serve. Online learning doesn't change any of that. It just removes the barriers that were keeping people out.

We’re excited to announce that Risepoint has acquired the North American operations of Keypath Education!
At Risepoint, we’re continuing to invest in the expertise, technology, and capabilities universities need to grow, serve more students, and respond to the changing needs of their communities.
Healthcare is one of the clearest areas of need. Workforce shortages continue nationwide, and universities are being called to prepare more professionals across high-demand disciplines, like counseling, clinical social work, nursing, and pharmacy.
By bringing together the Risepoint scale and platform with Keypath's deep healthcare education expertise and clinical placement capabilities, more universities will be able to address persistent healthcare workforce shortages while expanding access to career-focused healthcare education.

Through Risepoint tuition benefits, James was able to complete both his undergraduate degree and his MBA. He credits both milestones as significant contributions to his career development, starting from his time as a Student Engagement Specialist in 2006 to his current role as Director of Student Engagement.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with family, tackling projects around the house or yard, barbequing, and staying active as a proud Army veteran.
James, we're so glad you're here!

"Nowhere is the payoff question more relevant than in master's programs at regional public and private universities. The typical student at these institutions is place-bound, time-pressed, and often paying with their own money, even as new federal loan caps limit their borrowing."
So says Jeff Selingo in his latest white paper, which proposes that regional universities focus on designing high-ROI graduate programs for enrollment growth.

Retention isn't just a metric — it's a relationship.
For almost 15 years, Oscar Macias has worked as a Senior Student Retention Specialist at Risepoint — helping our partners' online students navigate the everyday logistics of their degree: when to register, how to balance coursework with a full-time job, how to keep moving toward graduation when life gets in the way.
This spring, Oscar attended Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi's commencement to watch two students he'd supported for years walk across it.
Ethan Galvan earned his MBA in Finance while juggling a full-time job, travel, and family life. Melissa Lopez earned hers in Business Analytics after pushing through the loss of several family members and a cancer diagnosis that pulled her out of her program for a time.
Neither path was easy. Both students say Oscar's consistency made the difference.

Join us in celebrating two colleagues who have recently reached two decades at Risepoint! Brian Nicholas, Senior Vendor Manager in Business Technology, and Kristen Hammond, Senior Director of Partnerships on our Australian team, both credit "the people" as their favorite part of working at Risepoint.
As Kristen shared, "No matter where they're based, there's a shared commitment to creating empowering educational experiences for university partners and their students, and that's something pretty special to be part of."
We're grateful to have both of you at Risepoint!
