Venturity
Spend Less Time On Your Numbers and More Time On Your Business

In the early years of Venturity, we used to think that expertise meant having all of the answers. Over time, we learned that it often starts with asking better questions.
Curiosity changes the way you approach a challenge. The first answer rarely tells the whole story, and sometimes the most valuable thing you can do is listen, ask the next question, and stay curious.
That's one of the 10 lessons that has stayed with us after 25+ years of building Venturity. Some came from getting things right, others came from course correction along the way. All of them continue to shape how we serve our clients today.

It was a great evening with the DFW dealmaking community at the ACG DFW - Association for Corporate Growth Dealmakers October Program.
Abby Fuqua joined an impressive panel for a thoughtful discussion. From how investors are evaluating value and risk to the growing influence of AI and where they’re seeing opportunity, the conversation offered plenty to consider as the dealmaking environment continues to evolve.
Many thanks to ACG DFW for bringing the community together and for the opportunity to join in on the conversation.

The manufacturing and distribution industry brings a unique layer of complexity to the finance function.
- Inventory valuation
- Standard costing
- WIP
- Variances
- Overhead absorption
- Working capital
- Margin leakage
These aren't isolated accounting issues. They directly affect profitability, cash flow, and the decisions leaders make every day.
Venturity brings finance and operations together, helping M&D businesses understand where margins are being made or lost, where cash is tied up, and what the numbers are saying about performance.

Twenty-five years. A lot to celebrate, and even more to be grateful for.
Getting to mark this milestone last night alongside the team members, clients, friends and partners who helped make it possible made the celebration that much more meaningful.
To everyone who has trusted us, challenged us, partnered with us, and helped shape Venturity into what it is today, thank you for being part of our story.
Here's to 25 years of Unwavering Excellence and all that's ahead! A special thanks to Tori McLaughlin and Casey Dunham for the creativity and care that went into making this such a memorable evening. More to come on this special evening!
September was a full month of opportunities to build relationships and learn from others. From conversations about the evolving Office of the CFO to connecting with the dealmaking community at the ACG DFW W**e Tasting, we appreciated the chance to spend time with clients, partners, and friends.
Here's a look back at some of the moments that made this month memorable.

Over the last 25 years, we've learned that growth requires more than momentum.
As businesses grow, they need the right people, leadership, and capabilities to support what comes next. We've also seen how financial data can do more than explain what happened; it can help leaders make better decisions about where they're going.
As we celebrate 25 years, we're reflecting on the lessons that shaped our journey and continue to share how we serve our clients.

The nonprofit finance function comes with a different set of realities.
Restricted funds. Grant compliance. Uneven cash flow. Board reporting. Donor expectations.
These aren't simply accounting challenges. They require a finance function built around how your organization is funded, how resources are managed, and where your mission is headed.
Venturity helps nonprofit leaders build financial operations that protect resources, improve visibility, strengthen decision-making, and keep the mission moving forward.

The difference between reactive and proactive financial leadership often comes down to timing.
A reactive CFO can tell leadership what happened, where spending changed, and where problems occurred.
A proactive CFO uses that same financial information to look ahead—forecasting potential outcomes, identifying risks earlier, evaluating where capital can create the most value, and bringing insights to leadership before a decision needs to be made.
The goal isn't to stop looking backward. Historical performance still matters. The difference is using what you've learned to influence what happens next.
