Here’s shots from a photoshoot I did as Naofumi this year. I originally did this cosplay to encourage others to get into the series. Most notably by reading the light novels. I know lots of people in the anime scene gave up on the series with Season 2, and I acknowledge that season had its problems. But I stuck with it and I think it got better. Plus, Season 5 is around that is going to be the darkest story arc yet. I’m also proud of the work I put into this. I’ve also made 4 different Cardinal Shields and 2 Vassal Mirrors for it by hand. And after winning 2 major awards with it in a row, I decided to retire the Barbarian Armor. I will still be cosplaying as Naofumi in the future with the Blessed Armor and Q’ten Lo version. I’m just not going to wear this version again moving forward because I don’t believe I have anything left to prove with it. It served me well.

Another photo album of me at as Naofumi. This was a successful weekend since it was my first time winning in the Cosplay Master’s Devision. Yeah. I’ve pushed Naofumi pretty far. Another big highlight from this was meeting Debi Mae West. I also got her to sign a photo of Meryl Silverberg from since that character was my introduction to her. Really sweet lady and I have nothing but good things to say about my interaction with her. There’s also some images of me with Vtubers. Shylily and Ao WuWu being the most known ones. Also some shots with some old friends, a couple of random cosplayers, and a few shots of me as Delsin Rowe at the end. Wish I took more photos. Here’s shots from a photoshoot I did as Reeve with Cait this year. When I got into FFVII cosplay, I was considering others characters like Cloud Strife or Vincent Valentine. I decided not to cause there are so many of them and no disrespect to those who do so. So I chose to be a character that hardly anybody ever does and everybody seems to like. Reeve Tuesti fit that bill.

Photo album of me at as Reeve Tuesti. I got a better beard for the cosplay this time and I made a few updates to Cait Sith. I also got to talk to a few actors from FFVII. J. Micheal Tatum (Cid Highwind) and Suzie Yeung (Yuffie Kisaragi). There’s also images of me with Vtubers, other FFVII cosplayers, and a few acquaintances from a cosplay group chat I haven’t met until now. Everybody was really nice and they all got a kick out of my cosplay. I’m glad. Hardly anybody ever sees Reeve and Cait at a con, if at all. is over and it was a blast. You’ll be seeing more pics from me on that, but I want to post something else for now. Something that was more important to me. That same weekend, I went with some old buddies to watch a Dallas Stars game. They have been trying to get me to go for awhile. The Stars played against the Winnipeg Jets and won. 3 to 0. This was the first professional hockey game I have ever seen and I regret not doing it sooner. Hockey is so much fun and I highly recommend going to a pro game at least once in your life. GO STARS!! 👍
