Look at this baby face! One of 3 bald eaglets at White Rock Lake in Dallas. How glorious is it to watch these creatures in their nest, 80 feet above the ground? It’s a thrill to witness nature, especially our American bald eagles, in the wild, in the middle of the city.

Beautiful, majestic Nora, one of the resident bald eagles at White Rock Lake. Photo taken this morning after sunrise as she sat in a branch above her nest, with 3 hungry eaglets waiting patiently below for their next meal.
