We’ve noticed something interesting lately.
More and more, we’ll deliver a website, page of copy, or design concept, and a client will run it through AI before launch to look for improvements.
Honestly, we don’t think that’s a bad thing.
We use AI ourselves. It’s a great tool for brainstorming, research, pressure-testing ideas, and catching things you might have missed.
But it’s important to understand what you’re asking it to do.
If you paste copy into ChatGPT and ask, “What’s wrong with this?” it’ll find something. Make those changes and ask again, and it’ll find something else. You could repeat that process forever.
That’s not a criticism of AI. It’s doing exactly what you asked.
The challenge is knowing when the next suggestion makes something stronger versus simply making it different.
We see this with websites all the time. A client asks AI for recommendations, we implement them, and then a new round of suggestions appears.
At some point, the question has to shift from “How could this be improved?” to “Is this accomplishing the goal?”
Because effective communication isn’t about cramming in more information or making every sentence sound more impressive.
A website exists to do something:
• Build trust
• Answer questions
• Guide visitors toward a decision
• Help the right people take the next step
Those goals should drive the decisions—not simply the fact that AI found another possible tweak.
AI is an incredibly useful tool. We use it every day.
But one thing it’s not particularly good at is deciding when something is finished.
That’s where strategy, experience, and human judgment still matter.
At some point, someone has to look at the work and say:
“This accomplishes what it was designed to accomplish. It’s ready to go.”

Calendar views are one of those website features that seem like the obvious choice for an events page... until you watch how people actually use them.
Most visitors aren’t trying to find a date on a calendar.
They’re trying to answer questions like:
• What’s happening next?
• What’s happening this weekend?
• Which event should I attend?
A well-designed list view answers those questions faster, works better on mobile, and reduces cognitive load for users.
The best UX decisions aren’t always the most visually familiar. They’re the ones that make information easier to find.
Do you prefer calendar views or list views when browsing events? 👇

Stratifi was chosen as the spotlight for our coaching program’s hotseat session after hitting a milestone we’re incredibly grateful for: Q1 2026 profit surpassed all of 2025 combined.
During the session, we shared some of the biggest mindset shifts, systems, and operational lessons that helped us get there. Interestingly, many of the takeaways that resonated most weren’t about hacks or trends.
Yes, we’re building AI tools.
Yes, we’re leveraging automation in powerful ways.
But one of the biggest reminders from the conversation was this:
Ex*****on still wins.
In a world constantly pushing the “next big thing,” it’s easy to feel behind if you’re not using every new platform, tool, or strategy. But clarity, consistency, relationships, and focused ex*****on are still what move businesses forward.
These were a few of the takeaways the room of 200+ business owners connected with most.
Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday afternoon 😎
We spent the day capturing fresh content for Doyle’s Outpost and honestly, this shoot never disappoints.
Lots of laughs, lots of laser tag, and lots of new content coming soon 👀
Keep an eye out over the next few weeks and be sure to follow along with to see some of these smiling faces pop up.

Most people think their website has a portfolio problem.
Really, it has a systems problem.
Nobody builds a great portfolio with the intention of letting it become outdated. But when every update requires editing layouts, resizing sections, or calling your web person, it creates friction, and friction kills consistency. That setup is costing you valuable time.
The easiest way to keep a site updated is to remove as many barriers as possible.
We do the heavy lifting on the front end, building custom portfolio systems that are powerful behind the scenes but simple for your team to update day to day.
Think: clean backend fields for titles, descriptions, images, locations, categories, and more.
That means you or your team can add new projects quickly, confidently, and without needing a designer every time.
The result:
• Easier updates
• Consistent, polished project pages
• A site that actually grows with your business
• Less bottlenecks and back-and-forth
• More momentum keeping things current
And the best part? This same approach works for more than portfolios: job boards, directories, events, awards, team pages, resources, and beyond.
Your website should function like a tool, not a chore.
DM us “FIT” if your current site feels harder to manage than it should.
