When people talk about the great love stories connected to The Beatles, John and Yoko usually dominate the conversation. But one of the longest-lasting and most stable relationships in the Beatles universe belongs to Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach.

The simple answer is yes: by every public measure, their marriage appears to have been remarkably happy, supportive, and enduring.

Ringo and Barbara first met in 1980 while filming the comedy Caveman. At the time, neither was looking for another marriage. Both had already been through failed relationships and understood the pressures that came with fame.
