JellyGeneration
JellyGeneration? It is parents helping parents! Let's make the last season with our "nearly flown" Pam and Holly make entering those middle years much easier.
JellyGeneration's goal is to help others block out life's noise and make the seemingly difficult topics of helping our kids to learn topics that are often overlooked from the financial, to the legal, to networking understandable and fun! From free coaching seminars on creating personal habit formulas, to weaving those habits with goals and money, we love joining with students and parents alike in making life's journey more fun. Pam Hardison, MBA, BBA with minor in Business Education, has created and co-owned a National Mail Order Catalog that was at one point listed as #21 fasted growing customer base in the nation. As a mom of two college students, and still blessed to have both of her parents, Pam says she loves her journey and thrives on meeting others along the same road. Holly Powers, Attorney-At-Law (Jameson & Powers, P.C.), actively practices law and is a shareholder with the law firm of Jameson & Powers, P.C. The firm specializes in transactional law, health care law and general business law. Holly has taught students precepts concerning the legal world for over 10 years. With 4 children, she understands what teens need to know, and has a passion to help others faced with teens and aging parents. Both Pam and Holly have taught hundreds of students, and parents continually say “I wish I could have learned this as a teen!” Using their business-world skills to help us block out life’s “noise” to make the seemingly difficult topics of the financial and legal world manageable, understandable, and fun. Yes, you too can have Success in the Middle of It All!

Parents forever. Part of our parent anxiety as they grow up and out?
(Hat tip: )
That they wont need us anymore.
In reality? They just need us DIFFERENTLY. My dad texts me to cover my outside lawn hose spouts so pipes wont freeze.
How does your parent *still* reach out to you?
This skill is crucial. Can your your “Nearly grown” child learn, practice and level up on networking? Absolutely.
Call it people skills, social skills, or more simply getting to know and help others. Whatever you call it, the sooner they practice and get comfortable with this, the more they can help others and themselves.

(Hat tip to the funny quote: and )
How?
Before i answer, the benefits for our older kids?
✔️ $ management
✔️ a meal they can cook when grown
✔️ another notch in self-confidence
By now you know . . . have them pick a night that fits their busy schedule and get them to plan, shop, and cook a meal. Let them choose BUT a theme night, or a meal they can ultimately create later in their own apartment us your goal.
At our house we started with eggs and bacon.
What meal can your “almost grown” cook?
