All eyes on an area of low pressure along the Texas Coast! Currently, there is a medium chance for tropical development. This system will keep rain chances in place for areas SE of DFW today.

As this low moves NE, drier air filters into North Texas, which dries us out briefly mid-week. More sunshine means afternoon temperatures easily climb back into the mid 90s. High humidity allows for a triple digit heat index.

By Thursday night, rain chances return as a front approaches from the north. Higher coverage of rain and storms return Friday into the weekend.

DENSE FOD ADVISORY issued for areas SW of the Metroplex. Use caution this morning!
