Don’t rush the little years. 🥹
One day you look up and the babies you were just holding are growing into these beautiful little people right in front of you. Trying to hold on to every laugh, every hug, every “Daddy”… all of it. ❤️

We celebrate 10 years of marriage in 7 days 🙌🏿❤️‍🔥

Mommy training their ears. I love hearing them sing together.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I felt extremely loved. Here’s to year 36🥂🎂

No carousel… just felt cute lol 😂✌🏾

Also figured this might buy me a little time before I drop the 6 months worth of content I’ve been sitting on 😭

Just feeding the algorithm. Carry on. 😂

36.

As I get ready to step into another year of life (My Unc era lol) , I’ve been thinking a lot about this past one.

I experienced some victories.
I experienced some failures.
Some days I got it right. Some days I definitely didn’t!

There were things I prayed for that happened… and there were disappointments that rocked me a little bit. Things that challenged my faith, challenged what I thought I knew, and shook some things up in me.

But somewhere in the middle of all of it, I learned contentment.

I learned that joy is deeper than everything going right. Real joy doesn’t mean life is perfect. It means I can still look around, breathe, and say, “God, You’ve been good to me.” Yeeeaaaa YOU CAN SHOUT RIGHT THERE!!! 🕺🏿😂😂😂

I’ve also realized how much I miss my people. My friends. My family. Real connection.

I want to do a better job of stewarding the relationships God has given me. Calling people. Showing up. Making time. Not allowing life, work, ministry, or ambition to make me miss the people that actually matter. I also wanna do a better job this year of embracing things in my life I can’t control. Including this bald head lol!!! 👨🏿‍🦲 y’all make see my in my ALL NATURAAAL look a lil more this year. 😂😂😂😂

But all and all.
I’m still learning.
Still growing.
Still becoming.

But I can look back at the wins, the losses, the questions, the disappointment, the laughter, and the tears and see that somehow, God used all of it.

None of it was wasted.

all of it is for His glory.

So here’s to another year.

More present.
More connected.
More grateful.
More joyful.
More like Him.

Happy Birthday JT.

Fam, last night was special.

So good being in a room full of bright lights, living legends, brilliant minds, musical architects, and people just using what God gave them.

And honestly, it felt like a family reunion. Seeing so many friends and fam doing their thing, walking in their gifts, creating, building and shining… I love to see it.

I’m rooting for everybody. For real. Give people their flowers. Celebrate people loudly. Love people well.

Grateful for moments like this and honored to keep building the Kingdom alongside so many incredible people.

Love y’all. Keep shining.

Hey social media peeps, TODAY IS MY LOVE’S BIRTHDAY!!!

I know neither one of us has been on here as much lately. We’ve been busy hanging out in real life, loving on our family, and just enjoying life together 😂 But I had to come on here today and celebrate my wife.

Y’all do me a favor and LOVE on her today. Send her all the birthday wishes, prayers, and love you can.

Baby, I love SOOOO FREAKIN’ MUCH!!! 😂❤️ I’m so proud of the woman you are and the woman you’re becoming. Watching you grow, evolve, and step into everything God has for you is so beautiful to watch!

I really believe this is going to be such a special year for you, and I’m so excited for everything you’re stepping into.

Happy birthday to my love, my bestie for the rest of, my wife. ❤️
I love you BIG TIME!

If you’re able, please wish Ryan Marie HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Alive Fest… man, it’s always good to be back.

Every time I come, it feels less like a festival and more like a family reunion. Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and getting to worship Jesus together is something I’ll never get tired of.

Thank you for the love, the energy, and the way you always make me feel at home.

Love y’all, Alive Fest. Until next time. 🫶🏿

Today I came to my church just to sit and pray. I’m so grateful for this place.

Serving at a church plant has taught me so much. I’ve served at church plants before, but this season has been different.
People often ask me what church I go to, almost expecting me to name a huge church with a well-known brand. When I tell them I serve at Immanuel Church , they usually respond, “Where is that?” “Who’s the pastor?” “How many members do you have?”

I smile and proudly tell them we’re only nine months old. I tell them my pastor’s name and how many people call this place home. Sometimes they seem confused because they assume that because I’m “Jonathan Traylor,” I should be serving at one of the bigger, more well-known churches.

But if you knew what I’ve been through with churches... if you knew how close I was to being completely done with “the Church”... then you’d understand why I see this place as nothing short of a miracle.

My pastor has been a gift to my life. I’ve found real people who care about me for who I am not just for what I do. I can miss a Sunday and be reminded that the worship experience doesn’t rise or fall on me. This is God’s Church, not mine.
For the first time in a long time, I don’t just feel needed, I feel known. I don’t just have a place to sing, I have a place to belong.

This is the place I call home.
This is where I’m planted.
This is where I’m more than a singer.
This is family.

If I could encourage you with one thing, it would be this:
Find a church where you’re loved for more than your gift. Find a community you can truly do life with. Find a leader who will develop you, challenge you, and hold you accountable. Find a place where your soul can rest... and where you can simply be.
I’m grateful I found mine.
