The tribute show for 🎹 #ShaunMartin 🎹 @shunwun was magical! I wasn’t able to document everyone who signed the #woodburning I created for permanent installation at #TBAAL and IG capped me off at 20 tags, but nearly 40 musicians/friends autographed it in his honor. The last slide is my favorite. Man, it really warmed my heart when his son, Harlem, signing very last, wrote his name closest to my signature. 🥹 (More tags in the comments)

Almost the whole surface has some initial details and at least half of it is locked in. Don’t worry about the weird values and distortion on the hand. For now, it’s basically just the place where I unload excess paint on my brush.

I lose about 10 followers every time I post an update on this oil painting for whatever reason, but I know at least a few enjoy tracking my progress. 🌞

I tried to pull an Adrien Brody and told y’all let me finish. 😂😂
