I'm sharing the GoFundMe for my late friend, Danny Torres, who was also my compadre and my son's Godfather.

I honestly don't even know what to say. Even though I found out Wednesday morning that he had passed, it still doesn't feel real. I've found myself talking about him every day since, sharing stories about the kind of man he was. He wasn't just a friend. He was my best friend, a mentor and the big brother I chose. He always believed in me. Pushed me to do things I didn't even know were possible. Taught me so much and wouldn't allow me to cut corners anywhere.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

If you feel led to help, we're asking for donations to help his family with funeral expenses. No gift is too small, and if you're not able to give, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean more than you know.

Danny was loved by so many people, not just here at home, but across the country. Thank you for your prayers, your support, and for helping us honor a man who meant so much to so many.
