Project Transformation North Texas

Welcome Leslie, as our 26-27 Year-Round Community Director with Project Transformation North Texas.

She currently attends Texas Woman’s University in Denton, where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education–3rd Grade with an ESL focus. Leslie is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where young people and families can connect, feel supported, and build a strong sense of community.

In her work, she enjoys creating engaging programs, building relationships, and helping others feel included and valued. Her goal is to continue growing as a leader and educator while making a positive impact in the communities she serves.

We did it! Because of you, our North Texas Giving Day community has helped us raise $32,988 for Project Transformation North Texas! 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you to everyone who gave, shared our posts, told a friend about PTNT, or simply cheered us on!

At PTNT, we know that transformation happens through moments: a child discovering the joy of reading, a young adult realizing they are capable of leading, a volunteer finding a new way to serve, or a family finding a place where they feel welcomed and connected.

Your generosity helps create those moments! Thank you so much! 💚💚💚

Today, we're celebrating a moment of discovery! One caring volunteer. One great book. One child discovering the joy of reading.

Every summer, children at PTNT receive 24 hours of individual reading instruction from a community volunteer!

Thank you for helping create moments that matter! We have raised $30,000 and we are so incredibly thankful for your support! 🎉

Donate before midnight tonight as we hope to achieve our goal with your help! (link in bio) https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/organization/ptnorthtexas

We host 2 Family Fun Nights in the Summer and 4 Family Fun Nights during the academic year!

First Week of our Afterschool Program in the Books! 📚

Our participants were full of curiosity learning about self awareness, types of fingerprints using Wonder Kits from Dallas Afterschool and they collectively read over 20 books! 📚💚

North Texas Giving Day is ONE WEEK from today! 🎉

Early giving is already open, and we’re celebrating with this story of connection, growth, and transformation through relationships.

At Project Transformation North Texas, we know firsthand that every moment matters. A child discovering the joy of reading. A young adult finding their calling. A volunteer showing up and making a child feel seen. These moments add up to something transformational!

And every gift matters, too. Your generosity helps create more moments like these for children, young adults, and churches across North Texas.
