What is Monday Night Playwright? Monday Night Playwright began in June 2018 as a place to provide a dedicated, affordable space to foster local playwrights and develop new works! These projects are not necessarily reflective of T3’s artistic vision; however, we want to provide a place for artists to develop their work. Coming up downstairs in the intimate Theatre Too space! 🕰️🏳️‍⚧️ I AM MY OWN WIFE, running October 15–November 1!

This Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by Doug Wright (who got his start as a young performer at Theatre Three), is directed by Garret Storms and stars Blake Hackler.

This acclaimed drama tells the compelling true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, a German transgender woman who survived two of the twentieth century’s most oppressive regimes. Through a richly theatrical and deeply personal lens, the play explores identity, memory, morality, and survival. Intimate, thought-provoking, and profoundly moving, it is a remarkable portrait of a singular life.
