💜 ASD – A Home for Life recognizes National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day (NHAAD)

September 18th is a day to recognize and raise awareness about long-term HIV survivors and the many people living with HIV who are age 50 and older.

At ASD – A Home for Life, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to age with dignity, connection, compassion, and the support they need to thrive.

Thanks to significant advances in HIV treatment, people living with HIV can achieve and maintain viral suppression and live long, healthy lives. Today, we celebrate the progress that has made this possible while recognizing the unique experiences and needs of older adults living with HIV.

Together, we can continue building healthy communities where people living with HIV can age with dignity, stability, and hope. 💜
