Design for Hospitality & Leisure Flick Mars specialty is the interior design of domestic and international hospitality and leisure projects.
James Flick and Matt Mars have built their partnership on over 38 years of luxury hotel, resort, spa, and restaurant design knowledge. James’ experience includes European, North American, and Asian projects for clients such as Disney, Hyatt International, Starwood, Hilton, and Four Seasons. Matt’s experience includes projects in the Middle East, Mexico, and North America for Disney, Four Seasons, Hilton, Intercontinental, and Hyatt. Flick Mars’ creative philosophy is simple: Create unique guest experiences by designing to a location’s indigenous surroundings. We subscribe to neither a specific look, style, or trend. Rather, Flick Mars creates an individual environment for each client and locale. Both James and Matt are involved as principals in each project envisioned by Flick Mars. Flick Mars’ boutique size and business philosophy ensures award winning design with the benefit of ownership involvement and senior member attention. Our work load is manageable by selecting only intriguing projects. Design is envisioned in a collaborative environment, documented accurately, and tracked properly to meet aesthetic, schedule, and budget goals.

A new hospitality destination is taking shape in Craig Ranch. ✨
AC Hotel McKinney is now accepting reservations ahead of its planned November debut, bringing 137 guest rooms, Good & Proper Wood Fired Bistro, and a thoughtfully designed bar and lounge experience to the area.
We’re excited to see this project nearing its next chapter. Here’s a look at the bar, where elevated design meets an inviting place to gather, sip, and stay awhile. 🥂
