A nice first gen out in the wild while out buying some parts last night!

It was a good time visiting our friends shop today and seeing the builds he is working on!

Awesome to see the bed and door we sold him are painted and looking clean on his low mile 93 W250!

We still have doors, fenders, beds, and cabs here at KeepRTuned! They may make new ones these days but what they can’t replicate is the thickness and quality of 90’s sheet metal!

We got in this really nice 1989 W250 1st gen Cummins the other week. It came packed with boxes of brand new aftermarket parts. The story is the old owner was trying to add some upgrades to his w250 and he tightened the exhaust manifold bolt too tight and it broke an ear off the head. He ordered a new head from power driven diesel and then ordered pretty much everything he could think of to make this truck the ultimate first gen.

I’m not exactly sure what happened from there, but he eventually reached out because he needed his garage space back. We made a deal and paid more than usual parts truck prices because of all the new parts that came with it.

So basically everything is up for grabs!

The truck is a roller at this point with the stripped engine block sitting in the engine bay, and a clean title.

We haven’t decided what to do with the roller yet. We may put one of our good running engines back in it and sell the truck complete, or we may sell it as a roller and let someone build it exactly how they want.

It was also in the process of being converted to an intercooler setup with the newer-style core support, radiator and condenser.
