MYTH: More decimal places automatically mean more accuracy.
FACT: Resolution and accuracy are not the same thing.

Resolution tells you the smallest change a measurement system can display, while accuracy describes how close the measured value is to the true value.

More digits may provide greater detail, but they do not automatically guarantee a more accurate result.
