We picked up a couple of dogs from Dallas Animal Services today, as they're over capacity. Thanks to one of our fabulous fosters, Dazzle and Esteban are out of the shelter! They'll be spayed and neutered and ready for adoption in a few weeks.
More info to come! Esteban is a small male terrier mix, 2 years old. Dazzle is a very scared malti-poo- possibly - and is also 2.
Check out The DAWG Project website for more info as we get them ready for adoption.TheDawgProject.org

LAST CALL FOR OUR DALLAS DAWGS! 🚨🐕
The North Texas Gives to Animals window closes tomorrow, May 31st!
Every dollar raised this month goes directly toward our mission of making Dallas a no-kill community. Whether it's $10 for a "housewarming" toy or $300 to fully vet a new rescue, you are the reason these "Neighborhood DAWGS" get a second chance to be the DAWG Next Door.
Let’s finish strong for the dogs of Dallas!

MEET YOUR NEWEST NEIGHBOR, ! 🦴✨
Meet Callista, a "DAWG Next Door" currently thriving in our Foster DAWG program. Before DAWG stepped in, she was just another face at the shelter. Today, she is learning that life in a neighborhood means belly rubs, safe fences, and peaceful naps.
Our Foster DAWG program is all about removing barriers—whether it’s fixing a medical issue or providing training so a dog can finally be adopted! The DAWG Project believes there is a family out there for every DAWG so they can be a neighbor next door!
We are more than halfway through the North Texas Gives to Animals event! Your gift provides the 100% support these dogs need to find their forever homes.

BE THE NEIGHBOR WHO SAVES A LIFE! 🏠🐾
Today kicks off North Texas Gives to Animals, and we have a massive opportunity. To kick off the event on Thursday, May 14, the first $100,000 in donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our presenting partner The Gigi Gartner Charitable Foundation Fund, along with sponsors Haroon Alvi and Nancy Cozzie Fund and Communities Foundation of Texas. Available for online gifts only, the first $100 per donor per organization will be matched. Your $100 gift becomes $200 instantly. That covers a full "Neighbor Welcome Kit"—vaccines, heartworm tests, and a month of food for one dog pulled from Dallas Animal Services.
Don’t wait—the match funds go fast! Help us turn at-risk shelter dogs into the "DAWG Next Door."

This beautiful girl needs a forever home! Callista has a big smile, a prancy walk and one eye! She lost.the other to glaucoma, but it hasn't slowed her down. She's very calm for a husky, and gets along great with dog foster brother.
