🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR MISTY 🚨

Misty needs us RIGHT NOW. 💔

Due to circumstances beyond their control, Misty’s family can no longer keep her, and we desperately need a foster home to step up.

Be Their Voice Rescue is a foster-based rescue. We do NOT board our dogs which can ultimately turn into months and years and I would never do that. If we cannot find Misty a foster, the heartbreaking reality is that she will have to go to the shelter. We absolutely do not want that for her.

Misty doesn’t need someone to commit forever she just needs one safe home to give her the time she needs to find her forever family.

We cannot do rescue without fosters. For Misty, a foster home is literally the difference between staying safe and entering the shelter system where she was shut down and did not do well.

Lava Cake won the internet with her adorable cuteness. 🍰❤️

But beneath that soft, gentle, happy-go-lucky personality is the heartbreaking result of unethical breeding. Her sweet face may have captured our hearts, but her body has paid the price for humans who bred without regard for her health, comfort, or quality of life.

Lava is tiny, but she has lived with pain for so long that she thinks it’s normal. We don’t think that’s okay.

Her blood work has been sent out, and we’re planning her multiple surgeries starting with a cystotomy, spay, and staphylectomy that is tentatively scheduled for October 9, but if an earlier cancellation opens up, we’re taking it. No hesitation. Lava is ready, and we are ready.

We didn’t want to help Lava just to get her out or through one surgery. We wanted to make sure all of her medical needs were finally addressed so she could have a real chance at a comfortable, normal life.

The plan is to have multiple doctors present so we can tackle as much as possible in one surgery. And maybe—if we move at the speed of light and finish everything in under an hour—we’ll squeeze in a dental too. (Hello, FME!) 😂

Now we need your help getting her there.

Our goal is $3,000 to cover Lava’s surgeries and medical care.

Three thousand dollars can feel overwhelming when you’re looking at one little dog. But imagine 300 people saying, “I can give $10 for Lava.”

That’s it.
