It's been a tough year for a lot of people, but a lil' holiday cheer can go a long way. Donate to Cumulus Kids and make a local child smile. Our annual toy drive benefits kids from Charles E. Nash Elementary School in Fort Worth and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Arts Academy in Dallas. Many of these kiddos live in homeless shelters and won't have a Christmas without help from the community.

SPCA of Texas needs your help. Animal Shelters in Hill Country are housing dogs and cats who were displayed by the floods. Their goal is to reunite them with their families. So local rescue groups are bringing pets who were already in Central TX shelters to Dallas shelters help them find fur-ever homes in DF-Dub. Meet Betty, our 570 KLIF Pet of the Week!

Grapevine Police Department and Texas Game Wardens are holding a press conference at 9:30 this morning regarding the jet-ski hit and run that killed kayaker Ava Moore, 18. Jet-ski driver Daikerlyn Gonzalez, 21, fled the scene on the water. Then she left the area with Maikel Perozo, 21. The suspects struck 2 vehicles with their car while making their getaway. GPD is investigating the automotive hit & run while TX Game Wardens lead the water fatality investigation.
