Bauhaus Ballet by Szilveszter Makó, featuring gallery artist Carson Monahan, presented by Capital One x The Cultivist during New York Fashion Week.

Makó transforms a sprawling Manhattan space into a deeply personal world where Hungarian folklore, childhood memory, and the sensibilities of post-communist Eastern Europe collide across six immersive rooms, with live performances and dining by Chef Jeremy Salamon.

Ted Larsen opens his seventh solo show with the gallery, Meaning Comes After. Larger in scale and more ambitious than his previous work, these wall based constructions are built from salvaged and repurposed materials, transforming the remnants of an industrial world into precisely calibrated compositions of color, line, texture, and space.

Conduit Gallery is pleased to announce three new exhibitions opening Thursday, September 10, 5-7PM.

Rosalyn Bodycomb and Ted Larsen, two longtime gallery artists, return with new bodies of work, and Jordan Bruner joins them with her first exhibition in Texas, on view in the Project Room. Bodycomb’s paintings take on the intersection of wrestling, politics, and performance, while Larsen returns with his seventh solo show, larger and more ambitious wall based constructions built from salvaged materials. Bruner’s work sits alongside them with a series set in an imagined future, playful on the surface and a little uneasy underneath.

A new collaboration with Unsubscribe.llc brings two of Annabel Daou’s works into a limited run of shirts, including a thistle design and a reprint of her 2006 shirt “I prefer not.” Daou, who was born and raised in Beirut and now lives in New York, works across paper, sound, performance, and video, often carving out the language of daily life.

A portion of proceeds supports Beitelbaraka and their work in Lebanon. Direct donations are also encouraged.
