Elevating a space means something different for everyone who comes to us. A full remodel. New construction. A one-of-a-kind home. A garden reimagined entirely. In every case, it is a close partnership that creates something lasting, made to be lived in.
Whatever the brief, the work runs the same way: from the first lines on paper to the final detail installed on site, with us carrying the many decisions along the way, so you can enjoy the process rather than manage it. We take on only a handful of projects each year, in California and worldwide.
If you are dreaming of something unique, let’s create it together.

Behind every POMESCIKOVA project: close to thirty years of listening to each client’s story and creating an individual design concept for them. I’m Larisa Pomescikova, founder and lead designer of this bespoke interior and landscape studio, working with clients in California and internationally. Here’s what I value and how I work, in the slides.

Behind every before-and-after photo are hundreds of decisions the camera never sees. The concept, drawings, revisions, sourcing, samples, site visits, supplier conversations, and the changes made along the way as the project takes shape.
Our role goes beyond designing how a space looks. It is to hold the vision steady through every stage of a new build or renovation and manage the many moving parts, making the process as seamless as possible for our clients.
Glass is one of the most demanding materials to work with and one of the most beautiful when done right.
Custom glass elements often appear in our luxury projects as one-of-a-kind pieces, individually made for the space. It could be an oversized glass decor piece, a sculptural element, a basin, a light fixture, or something entirely specific that the design calls for.
Our interior design studio develops the concept, then hands it to people who know how to take it from there.
For artistic glass, we are lucky to work with Anda Munkevica and her team at Glass design "AM studio". Anda has the eye of an artist and a deep understanding of the material, so she can take our idea and turn it into something real and functional. Her team then builds and installs it wherever the project is located.
We have worked together for many years. There is almost nothing we have imagined that they could not make.
That kind of care for craft is rare, and we are grateful for it.

The difference between a property that sells quickly and one that sits on the market is not always price or location. This is where design adds real value. Buyers feel it the moment they walk in. They cannot always explain it, but this feeling is what makes them come back with an offer.
In this San Jose project we handled the full scope - interior planning, material selection, and landscape design. From the first drawings to the last plant in the ground.
We work with real estate professionals and investors in the greater Sacramento area and the Bay Area. If you invest in properties, reach out.

Swiss Coffee is not really a choice. It is the default. The right neutral depends on your light, your materials, and your architecture.

Americans have the space, but more square footage doesn't buy you a better room - a good layout does.
Throwback to our feature in APSKATS: Latvia's leading architecture and design publication, where Larisa Pomescikova shared her perspective on designing across continents:
"Europe trains you to treat every square inch as intentional. That precision, that obsession with detail, it's what my team and I bring to every project here in the States."

Most people hire an interior designer after construction has started. By then, the layout is fixed.
At the blueprint stage, it's still just lines on paper — light, flow, proportion are all still yours to shape. Wait until after the build, and you're choosing furniture to compensate for mistakes that never had to happen.
