TUPAC Equals

Tupac is the legend that he set out to be. He knew and accepted the assignment and executed a master plan, by waking up our minds.

Although it's been 30 years
( but it seems like yesterday) he remains one of the most celebrated and influential men in the entire world and that should be respected, without question.

A flashback of history

I wrote this tribute, not knowing that he had the words "God Will Rise" on the side of his face.
I gave the tribute, those exact words, because I researched his birth name...

If you had the chance to hang out with Tupac, whether in the studio or on a film location. What would you talk about or more importantly, what is the number one thing that you would tell him? I'll go first.

" I would tell him that, I always wanted to meet him and explore more on how he got into the character of Bishop"
Juice remains one of my favorite movies with Tupac, along with Poetic Justice ❤️

Thank you Friesenpress Bookstore for your kind and humbling words. To be honest I never knew that writing in Verses was difficult and extremely rare, for some writers.
I always viewed it as my
"Second Nature" Overall I'm very proud of myself 😁

This is very interesting

85 pages of poetry and this is still one of my favorite photos.

RIDE OR DIE?
When we hear the words RIDE OR DIE...
Most people close their blinds, but peek through one eye...

Just live your life, without questioning the end...
Wheels that turn our world, never stop just spins...

Like the words "Thug Life"
Right below the chest...
Is a marker of intelligence no bullet proof vest..

His legacy and voice
Created for equality but most of all his choice...

Now imagine that, born from Panthers never caged or trapped...

He made me understand his definition of a man, being black...

The darker the skin..
Becomes monitored and tracked..

But to Free all speech and say what's really on his mind!

Live until the end, is simply
termed, RIDE OR DIE..

Lived and Died,
Born before his time...
Tattooed with Thug Life no shame just pride....

A soldier of misfortune with broken wings that flew high..
As he talked about Police brutality, right before our eyes..

He became a marked man, and some thought his voice was a crime...

He needed justice in all communities to be seen and heard...
No with ignorance but intelligent words...

Some thought of him as a troublemaker in more than one way....
As he prayed for those at Rikers island and the innocent that were put away...

With a free mind that never found peace, with a Mic in his hand..
But alone he would stand.

His Love for California kept him on top...
Tied up in contract's tighter than knots...

Until one night in Vegas silenced from a drive-by....
But just like a cat, he lived all 9 lives...

TUPAC SHAKUR!
Maybe gone by 25..
His life was a Dreamer of Time..
