Pine Trails Ranch

Any students want to try a one day show October 18? Woodland Stallion station is finally hosting another hunter jumper show. We will have much smaller trailering costs for such a close show. A good chance to go to a show for less money. Get in touch with Michelle if you lease or own a horse and want to go to the show.

People comment our horses are very steady when things are scary. We try to do what we can to expose them to everything we can. This week we had some great training opportunities. And the horses did great.

The coming weather has us a little worried. Please be sure to give your horses salt and bring your water bottles. We have tried to move lessons to as early as possible. We can of course hold a lesson in the classroom with the AC, so feel free to ask. Was a lovely sunset tonight. If you can ride early or later Monday and Tuesday, let us know!

This weekend we will have a sale of riding clothes. If you need some riding breeches, or half chaps, or a jacket, come.out Sat or Sunday and see if we have what you need. Only 10$ per item. Lots of sizes from kids to adults. Some items haven't even been worn! If anyone has time to help set up Friday afternoon, you'll get first chance at the goodies.

Who's ready for a Pine Trails Ranch schooling show? Nov 8 we will have Mandy Thompson judging for us! Start cleaning your tack and practicing your equitation. Let's have a great day!

A very kind community member dropped off some donations the other day. Another neighbor stopped by with a nice saddle! I would like to take a moment to thank folks in our communities for their support. This particular kind lady said it was just things her daughter once used and was now grown. But to us these are things our students need and we have to charge more to purchase. Donations like this help us teach kids and keep costs down. And everything keeps costing more. You don't want to see what our power bills and insurance costs are these days! Good quality stirrup irons and leathers are over 100$ these days. So thank you everyone! We had some breeches donated and we are going to help the UCD hunter jumper club get ready for their first show next month! We can't do it without you all!

For our students who have been with us a while- Cole is coming to visit! He will be around end of next week if you want to see how medical school is going.
