Eeeeeeh… well, there are rain chances. A lot of uncertainty with the amounts, but what we know is that Saturday and Sunday there will be rain at some point.
I’ll hint at some timing and amounts in my rant.

The record coldest low: 52° back in 1985
And we’re coming very close to breaking the coldest high for tomorrow. That was 74° 1906. The forecast is 75°!
Hello “false-fall”
HONEST FORECAST
1. It’s about d@mm time it gets cooler. I’ve been waiting all summer.
2. Is this “false fall?” Just wait a minute and it will be blazing hot and I’ll be sweating anything off my body again.
3. My neighbor got the rain but I didn’t… what’s the deal? How is this possible. I’m sick of all these weather people getting the forecast wrong!

⚡️SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE⚡️
Early morning storms may be enough to suck all the energy from the storms later this afternoon. That means lower risk for stronger storms if that is the case.
Regardless, wind is our main threat. However, all hazards are possible… the tornado threat is extremely low!

RADAR UPDATE 7:25 AM TUESDAY
A strong storm continues to push ESE at roughly 45 MPH and bringing with it some gusty winds and frequent lightning. Heavy rain will allow for some ponding in parking lots and on roads.
Hoping these morning storms eat up a lot of the energy for a lower severe weather risk this afternoon.
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
for northwestern Mercer Co. until 6:30 AM
A strong batch of storms are rolling in with gusty winds of 40 MPH and pea sized hail. Frequent lightning is also a concern.

⚡️SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE ⚡️
Tuesday afternoon, roughly after 12PM initiation is expected. This is an interesting event. Storms have the potential to fire over the Valley, but may also fire along 71 and push SE and bring the strongest storms out that direction. There’s a lot of model uncertainty once again with makes it VERY difficult to land on a location and time.
What I will say, isolated severe storms are possible. I’m feeling a little more confident in saying that the strongest storms in the Valley have the potential to develop in the central parts and push SE.
Wind is the primary threat with gusts in excess of 60 MPH. Small hail and isolated tornadoes are possible but not likely. In fact, that threat is extremely low. Keep in mind, heavier downpours may also trigger some localized flash flooding concerns with 1 to 2 inches of rain.
Regardless, know where to go if and when severe weather strikes. Have multiple ways of being alerted and pay attention to radar if you must be out and about!

Scattered showers and storms are firing now. A few may become strong into the afternoon.

Kelli Shinn Sawyer sent me this amazing shot of this sun this morning. You see the reddish orange colors due to the Mie Scattering! Taking away the short wavelengths and leaving the longer ones.
