The Partners for the Environment is an alliance of organizations who share the common goal of protecting, restoring, preserving, and promoting the environmental and agricultural resources of the Great Miami River and Little Miami River Watersheds. The Greater Dayton Partners for the Environment is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Partner of the Year Awards!
We're looking for individuals, organizations, and communities that are making a real difference in protecting, preserving, and restoring the environmental and agricultural resources of the Great Miami River and Little Miami River watersheds.

Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Environmental Leaders Program, a unique 12-month experience designed to help passionate individuals develop the skills, connections, and confidence needed to address today’s environmental challenges and shape a more sustainable future.
Through monthly sessions with regional experts, networking opportunities, mentorship, and access to the Cincinnati Nature Center's Ripple Effect curriculum, participants will gain practical leadership tools while building relationships with others committed to positive change.
Whether you work in the environmental field, serve your community, or simply want to make a greater impact, this program can help you turn your passion into action.

🌱 Yesterday, our Partners enjoyed an inspiring and educational day, as we participated in a thought-provoking, interactive training on Energizing Your Partnerships and Networks led by the Institute for Conservation Leadership (ICL).
Thank you to Joy Jackson, Vice President with ICL, for facilitating such an engaging session and helping participants build the skills needed to lead productive collaborations and create meaningful networks. 🤝
📚 We are also incredibly grateful to Aullwood Farm for sharing their beautiful meeting space with us. We look forward to putting these lessons into practice as we continue advancing conservation and sustainability across the Dayton region!
