Allowing time in your day for portraits is possible. When you enjoy art as much as these two do, carving out a pit stop for some scenic places in your city is easy.

During our consultations, it was always known art was key. When it came to their timeline, we started with key moments that were important to them. The expertise and guidance for these portraits were allowed because of the time we set. No rushing, running around or trying to take a bunch of photos. All because they had ample time in the day to allow not only the photos be taken but time for me as an artist, create.

One thing we do with couples is listen, and educate. Every wedding is different, every couple is different.

This day Sarah and Tyler had a team of vendors in place to help with all moving parts. The Barns at Cooper Molera sits in old downtown of Monterey. Their onsite staff kept the media team updated, allowing time to move around at every angle to show off this outdoor family style seating for the reception.

Kate and Hannah’s wedding was a garden filled summers day in June. The morning started off embracing the slower moments, as they eased into partying down the rest of the night at Sunset Estate Farms.

Giving a toast is an honor at any wedding. Having photos to look back on to feel that moment for a lifetime is legendary. And that is what we strive to do for each and every couple.

Zoë and Brendan had some of the sweetest, memorable and hysterical toast shed on them during the reception. Moments of belly laughs, grabbing the napkin to wipe tears and glasses clinging as they cheers the couple.

Summer season and casual strolls in the little towns on Martha’s Vineyard for a random weekday couples session. This chill New England vibe is all I’ve been dreaming of the past few days.

Getting ready should be stress free, calm moments before all your emotions run wild while walking down the aisle.

Savannah had just that. Making time to change a small bite to eat, all bridal party hanging out chatting and details laid out to be photographed. A favorite moment was the wedding gown on the mannequin for its own moment.

Key thing is having buffer time to relax and actually enjoy the start of your wedding celebrations.

Your venue is a dark space, draped in decor of colors rich with depth, and your vibe is a little moody. All in all you lavish in your vision of showing true to color in the final gallery.

Find you a photographer that embraces tricky lighting, white and black colors natural balance and preserving the initial vibes you dream of on your big day.

Yes this was an editorial. The placement of everything was not ideal, the sun blazed in from the side tall windows and many other distractions to the area. In the end, creating content to show potential couples the expertise and art my mind and eye can still create in a state like this.

You sit there and plan your wedding day for months, even years. However, in the midst of deciding on your attire or where your venue is, most do not fully plan their guest experience.

You want what you want, and that is ok. But, you have a dozen to hundreds of loved ones showing up on your one day or weekend to celebrate. Yet it doesn’t start there for them either.

They are planning travel, selecting the right attire, and more just to join you and help celebrate. Including them in more than just a fancy dinner and open bar is more meaningful in the end.

As a photographer, one key thing I try to do is gather your friends up & take the photos. Filling your galleries with their fashion forward attire, heartwarming moments during speeches, and even the silly ones. Bringing in whimsical moments during the day to include everyone is key when you are bringing together two people to start their love story.
