The Valley of Dayton is pleased to announce that Brothers H. Matthew Reed, Harless H. Maynard, and George E. Moore join Brothers Jamie L. Kilburn, Carl C. Keller, and Steven M.
Petitjean as candidates for the 33rd Degree, which will be conferred in Boston, Massachusetts, in August 2027.

The 33rd Degree is an honor awarded by the Supreme Council on 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons who have rendered outstanding service to humanity, country, community or the
fraternity. These Scottish Rite Masons have demonstrated outstanding character and exemplary service to their communities and the Masonic fraternity, where each as a recognized leader. The Valley congratulates them on this honor and thanks them for their service to Freemasonry.

Huge congratulations to Brothers Robert E. Potts and J. Andrew McConnell from the Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite! 🏅✨

This past weekend, these two dedicated 32° Masons were officially honored with the prestigious Meritorious Service Award (MSA) during the annual meeting of the Ohio Council of Deliberation.

The MSA is the highest honor a state Council of Deliberation can confer, given only to those who demonstrate exceptional, unwavering devotion to the craft, their brothers, and the community. Brothers Potts and Andy embody our core values through and through, and this recognition is richly deserved.

Thank you both for your leadership, your tireless service to the Valley, and for continuing to build a better community.
