What an incredible week on Ashland University's beautiful campus!

Educators from across Ohio came together for the 2026 Summer Math Institute, diving deep into Ohio’s New Mathematics Standards and exploring innovative ways to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning in students from kindergarten through high school.
Through hands-on learning experiences, collaborative discussions, and engaging classroom applications, teachers are exploring how to move beyond procedures and create meaningful mathematical experiences that challenge students to think deeply and make connections.

This transformative learning opportunity was made possible through the generous support of the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, whose commitment to educational excellence continues to impact classrooms across our state.

The energy, creativity, and passion shared by participants, through the first two days I was able to attend, reminds us that the best professional learning happens when educators come together to learn, collaborate, and innovate.
Thank you to every educator who invested their time and expertise to make this experience so meaningful. We can't wait to see how these ideas come to life in classrooms across Ohio!
