The Neighborhood at Decatur

We’re excited to host our first End-of-Summer Bake Sale on July 29th! All proceeds will go toward purchasing school supplies for children in our community. If you’d like to order any of the baked goods, please let Cheyanne know by July 22nd. Thank you for helping us support local students as they prepare for the new school year!

Canoe Kids Camp 2026

Last week was an incredible experience as we hosted Canoe Kids Camp 2026! We packed three days full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. From outdoor adventures to team-building activities, the energy was contagious, and the smiles were endless. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable camp experience! Can't wait to do it all again next year!

Today, as we celebrate National Canoe Day, we're reminded of our mantra at Phoenix Senior Living: One Team One Canoe. This philosophy embodies our commitment to working together towards a common purpose – the well-being and happiness of our residents and their families. Just like a canoe requires a coordinated effort to navigate the waters, our staff collaborates daily to ensure that we provide the best care and support to those we serve. Here's to teamwork, unity, and the beautiful journey we share with our residents! Let's continue to paddle forward together!

We are looking forward to being able to celebrate all of the fathers in our community!

The Neighborhood at Decatur will be hosting a 3-day camp for children ages 5-12. We have a few spots available. If you are interested in registering your child, please give us a call!

Today, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing first responders who do so much for the Decatur community every single day. Your dedication, courage, and service never go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all that you do to keep our community safe and cared for. ❤️

We were honored to show our appreciation by hosting a special breakfast event for our local heroes. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed breakfast with us and allowed us the opportunity to celebrate you!

A special thank you to Enhabit and Centerwell for coming in and assisting with the event. Your support helped make the morning extra special.

We appreciate each and every one of you for your service, kindness, and commitment to our community! 🚓🚑🚒☕🥞

This past month, our community had the incredible joy of celebrating a remarkable milestone—Ms. Johnson’s 100th birthday! 🎉✨ What a privilege it was to honor someone who has been such a special part of our lives. 🌸🍵 What a beautiful way to celebrate Mother's Day! Our residents enjoyed a lovely tea party filled with laughter, joy, and heartwarming moments. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff members whose hard work made this event so special. Your dedication truly shines through in every detail, and today was a testament to that. A huge shoutout to Sammi Brooks for providing the delightful entertainment that kept the spirits high! It's these moments that bring our community together and create lasting memories. Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mothers and mother figures out there! 💐✨
