🚌 Congratulations to Jennifer Fehribach, appointed DeKalb County's Director of Transit by CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson! Fehribach brings more than 16 years of executive transit leadership, most recently as General Manager of the Charlotte Area Transit System. In her new role, she'll lead DeKalb's countywide mobility strategy, oversee the Transit Master Plan, and represent the County in partnerships with MARTA, the Atlanta-region Transit Link Authority, GDOT, and federal transit partners. ⚖️ Congratulations to Terry G. Phillips, appointed DeKalb County Attorney by CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson and confirmed by the Board of Commissioners! A DeKalb native and Southwest DeKalb High School graduate, Phillips has served the County since 1998 in a wide range of legal and leadership roles. As County Attorney, he'll lead the Law Department and provide legal counsel to the County's governing authority, elected and appointed officials, departments, boards and employees. Congratulations, County Attorney Phillips!

At Wednesday night's Special Called Meeting, Gabrielle Rogers was elected Inaugural Chair and Victoria Anglin was elected Vice Chair of the DeKalb County Women's Commission, the only county-level women's commission in the state of Georgia.
