We are heartbroken today for Elaine and everyone blessed enough to have known Stormy momma. This gal was rescued by Elaine after horrific life as an abused breeding dog. Elaine chose to gift a loving life to a soul that returned so much love for her.

We treasure that Elaine trusted us and shared Stormy with all of us. Last week she enjoyed the pool and had even swam recently, leaving a treasured memory of the joy on her face. We all love and will miss you, Stormy.

Please say a prayer for Elaine and for Stormy as she crossed the 🌈 bridge. 💔

August is National Dog 🐶 Month! To celebrate our precious pups, this month we will be doing some different kinds of posts, on top of our adorable pictures! 😍📸

Fresh garlic 🧄 is actually HIGHLY beneficial for your canine companion 🐶, although most literature says it’s toxic?!
The original study performed on garlic involved giving dogs repeated doses of garlic extract, which is equivalent to giving a dog 40 bulbs of garlic! Of COURSE they got sick 🤢🙃, wouldn’t we all?!

Fresh garlic, when given safely and with guidance from an integrative or holistic veterinarian, can be used for parasite (fleas, ticks, heartworms, and some intestinal bugs) prevention, bacterial infections, and even some viral infections. Garlic also contains vitamins, including B6 and selenium.

As always, monitor your pup for any digestive upset or other health changes when starting a new food or supplement, and contact their veterinarian if you have concerns.
