As part of the planning process for the Decatur Terrace Small Area Plan (SAP), DeKalb County is hosting a listening session to hear about the unique needs and perspectives of Decatur Terrace-area residents who rent their home or apartment.

This Renters Listening Session will be held in-person on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 6:00-7:30pm at the DeKalb County Government Service Center, 178 Sams Street, Decatur, GA 30030. This site is directly adjacent to the Derrydown Way Apartments and is accessible on foot via a pedestrian entrance gate off the East Decatur Greenway. Please note that you will need to go through building security.

Our team had the wonderful opportunity to share information about our 2055 Unified Plan at the DeKalb County Schools, GA 2026 Back to School Rally! It was a pleasure meeting and speaking with the families of DeKalb County, especially in regards to how DeKalb County should plan the growth and development over the next 20 years.
