October is National Physical Therapy Month! 💚💙

At TOC, our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants help patients restore movement, rebuild strength and work toward getting back to the activities they love.

Whether recovering from an orthopaedic injury, surgery, or a condition affecting mobility, our PT and PTA teams provide personalized physical therapy and rehabilitation focused on each patient’s individual goals.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🩷

At TOC, we stand with the patients, families, survivors, caregivers, and communities impacted by breast cancer.
Breast cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among women in the United States. This month is an important reminder to stay informed, understand your personal risk factors, and talk with your healthcare provider about breast cancer screening and early detection.

Together, we can raise awareness, encourage important conversations, and support those affected by breast cancer. 🩷

Meet the BEAR® Implant. A newer option for ACL tears that works with your body instead of around it. 🧸

Traditionally, ACL tears are treated with reconstruction: replacing the torn ligament with a graft taken from elsewhere in the body (or a donor). The BEAR® Implant takes a different approach. It acts as a bridge between the two torn ends of your own ACL, creating a protected space where your body’s natural healing response can take over. Over about eight weeks, the implant is absorbed and replaced by your own tissue, meaning your original ACL is restored, not replaced.

Who might be a candidate? Patients with a partial or complete ACL tear confirmed by MRI may qualify. Tissue quality matters more than how long ago the injury happened.
