Halloween is up year round. Part of the den and living room. Doesn’t include the rest of the house. There’s lots more. Spooky season all the time 🎃 🎃

Woohoo I ordered the Candy Corn Corgi!! I don’t do cutsie Halloween (except for my Hello Kitty skeleton inflatable), but I adore Corgis so this is perfect. Can’t wait til it gets here!

2 new items from HomeGoods and Michaels Stores today. Hoping to start decorating this week. Depends on if I’m up to it. The house is decorated year round but we like to go over the top for spooky season 🎃🎃🎃

Join the Poe Museum on September 9th for our Short Story Club, a low-commitment literary gathering designed for the busy reader who may not be able to commit to reading a new book every month. Our Short Story Club meets once a month on Wednesday from 6:00pm-6:45pm—a perfect chance to unwind midweek, connect with fellow literature lovers, and enjoy new reads—all without ever leaving your living room. Each meeting we will explore one Poe short story paired with a complementary piece by another author.

We will be reading “Imp of the Perverse” (1845) by Edgar Allan Poe and “The Horla” by Guy de Maupassant (1887).

Happy International Black Cat Day! We have Raven and Binx here. We’ve had 2 more Chanel and Thursday, but I don’t have their pix ready. We love black cats and consider them good luck. Ours have all been fun and loving. Black cats still have the hardest time getting adopted from shelters. People still have superstitions about them. We think they’re magic.
